As a long-time supporter of CACF, headed for many years by the exceptional, non-profit leader Larry Lee, I stand by their condemnation described below, of Judge O’Connor’s despicable move. It’s one more nail in the coffin for the bad people who would cause such distress. Shame on you judge, for your mean spirit and narrow mind! You are on the wrong side and you will fail!

CACF Statement on Texas Judge Ruling Against ACA

The Coalition for Asian American Children (CACF) condemns Texas U.S. District Court Judge Reed O’Conner’s decision to rule the Affordable Care Act (ACA) as unconstitutional. The judge’s ruling has endangered the health and well-being of millions who depend on the ACA for coverage. The decision will be appealed and ACA continues to remain in place legally throughout the appeal process. In the meantime, as the ACA still stands, we urge everyone to apply for health coverage.

The deadline for Open Enrollment for New Yorkers is January 31st, 2019. CACF along with our allies will continue to fight for equitable access to comprehensive health care and coverage.  For more information:
