Wonderful Insight into an Old Adage!
This book is an easy-to-understand look at the time-honored phrase: “what goes around comes around.” Using personal stories gleaned from family, colleagues, and acquaintances, Rob Davis shows us that what we say, think and do (causes) can lead to interesting outcomes (effects). Davis also explains why effects don’t always happen right away. But, he cautions, they will always show up – we just don’t know when. Read for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
An eternally timely, easy, enjoyable, and educational read that reveals powerful truths about life
Without a whiff of religiosity, the author sets out to assist each reader in shaping a happier, healthier, more prosperous and rewarding life via principally short narratives about himself and the people he has met along the journey of his life.
Learn or be reminded about how your thoughts, words and actions directly correspond to outcomes…negative ones are likely to produce unhappiness and misery while high quality, positive ones are likely to produce conditions of peace, health, success and prosperity…not just for yourself but for those around you, especially those closest to you…thoughts > words > actions > habits > character = destiny.
To his credit the author writes about his own self-examination/reflection and holds himself accountable while illustrating his personal evolution. He reminds us that answers are often found looking not elsewhere but in the mirror. If you don’t first blame others but hold yourself accountable you may achieve greater understanding and personal growth.
The author readily conveys in understandable ways the reality of cause and effect…action/reaction…and the difference between the surface mind and the deeper mind.
Enjoy and leverage in your own life the author’s Thoughts To Live By and come away from reading this terrific book with a renewed appreciation for “Life doesn’t happen to us by chance, it happens for a reason and the reason is us!”
Great reminder of what is important in life
Rob has an easy to read style that makes this book hum along which is not easy with self-help books in general. The stories provide great examples from everyday people and they are interesting. Easy to find something to keep from this book, but more importantly, it was enjoyable to read!
What will come around for you?
As I was reading the short stories and passages, the concepts of congruency, harmony and grace connected with me in a powerful and personal way. The well-crafted storytelling format leads the reader to a deep and profound understanding of the natural law. I highly recommend that you not only buy one for yourself, but also give this gift of Insightful awareness to friends and family….. true to form, good will ‘come back around’….
If you feel as if you have lost your way in life, read Rob’s book
What Goes Around, Comes Around gives the reader a life map. Whether you feel sad, overwhelmed or hopeless, this book gives you pathways to achieve a mindset that is happier, more resilient and it puts personal success within reach. I enjoyed reading this so much that I have ordered it as gifts for my family members.
Really good read!
The title says it all – What goes around comes around – we all say it and we sometimes wish it. This was a really easy and enjoyable read and how you can relate to the author. The take away from this book is very meaningful, to say the least. I would recommend this book for everyone – you never know – you may look in the mirror yourself after you finish it.

Dear Rob,
Thank you for “What Goes Around Comes Around.”
In a world where people are constantly writing books about how to be rich, “be number one” or how to assert yourself, your book focuses on something which is undervalued. It reminds us how to be human in the best possible way.
I respect your self revelation, both warts and beauty marks, and the comfortable way you encourage others to strive for their personal best.
In my capacity as a therapist, I can see recommending this book to many people. It is a wonderful combination of life experience, philosophy and hope in a book which is enjoyable to read and inspirational. How each individual has the opportunity to influence negative thoughts and behavior is an important reminder that people can choose a more positive life. Likewise, your book provides tools to make the change.
It is a wonderful combination of life experience, philosphy and hope in a book that is also enjoyable to read and inspirational.
Sincerely,
Arlene Demirjian, CSW
